The former design director at Bill Blass launched his own line in 2009 and quickly became one of the most lauded designers in the field. First Lady Michelle Obama chose one of his designs to wear to the first White House Correspondents Dinner.

Nying Zemo works with fine artists to translate their work into hand-knitted rugs that are made in Nepal. Founded by Simmy Pappachen and Shalini Acharya, Nying Zemo is committed to supporting the communities in which they work. A percentage of the company’s profits supports anti-trafficking work in Nepal and beyond.
