Room to Read
Founded by a former executive at Microsoft, Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments, Room to Read develops literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children and supports the completion of secondary school education among girls. Room to Read launched its first programs in Nepal and are now active in eight other countries in Africa and Asia.

Terre des Hommes International Federation
Terres des Hommes develops and implements projects designed to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged children, their families and communities. Working in consultation with the United Nations, UNICEF, the ILO and the Council of Europe, Terres des Homes supports 933 development and humanitarian aid projects in 65 countries, including Nepal.

Association Karya Népal
After volunteering with Conor Grennan at Little Princes orphanage in Godawari, Nepal, Farid ait-Mansour founded Association Karya Népal, a French partner of NGN that established and supported transition homes for displaced children in and around Kathmandu. Association Karya Népal helped to establish Dhaulagiri House for the first 26 children rescued by Grennan and ait-Mansour in 2006. Today the organization is devoted exclusively to reunification, supporting research and field work to return trafficked children to their homes and communities. NGN’s current country director, Julien Lovera, began his work in Nepal with Association Karya Népal.

Central Child Welfare Board, Nepal
The Central Child Welfare Board is the national Nepalese governmental agency charged with responsibility for “the full realization of the rights of the children of Nepal” by enforcing the laws and expectations of the state and civil society in Nepal and by encouraging Whole Child principles in education, security and community development. CCWB works closely with NGN and partner organizations to rescue children trafficked from remote regions of Nepal and to safely reunify them with their families and communities.

The Himalayan Innovative Society
The Himalayan Innovative Society (THIS) believes that social and physical environments affect the lives of Nepal’s citizens. Founded by two Nepalis from the Humla region, where many of NGN’s children come from, THIS aims to create opportunities for the children of Humla by improving the quality of their education, providing scholarships and working to stimulate school enrollment for Humli children.

Umbrella Foundation, Ireland/Nepal
The Umbrella Foundation, Ireland/Nepal seeks to relieve the impact of poverty and ten years of civil conflict on the destitute children of Nepal. Umbrella operates several homes for more than two hundred displaced children in and around Kathmandu and provides them with education and a stable, secure environment. The Umbrella Foundation works with Next Generation Nepal to return these children to their families and communities wherever possible.

Sanctuary for Kids Foundation, Canada 
Sanctuary for Kids (S4K) is a not-for-profit foundation that serves to provide sanctuary for children who do not live with the right of safety in their lives. The mission of Sanctuary for Kids is to improve the lives of children around the world who need protection and are in crisis—those who are exploited, dispossessed and threatened.
